The router settings required to use the Catlog device are as follows.
Note that the specific settings may vary depending on your internet provider and service contract and the type of router you use.
For information on how to change your router settings, please contact your router's manufacturer or internet provider.
- Check to make sure the number of connected devices does not exceed your router’s limit
- Enable the 2.4GHz network
If you have a network other than the 2.4GHz band and it's set to switch automatically, the connection may be interrupted. Please try settings such as "Prefer 2.4GHz network."
- Disable Stealth Mode
If stealth mode is enabled, there is a possibility that the Catlog device will be unable to connect.
- Disable settings designed to speed up the network
If settings to speed up the network such as high-speed roaming are enabled, there is a risk that the Catlog device will be unable to connect.
- Disable MAC address filtering
- Set encryption method to something other than WPA3
The Catlog device does not support WPA3 or WPA3/WPA2.
- Change the connection method to PPPoE (IPv4)
The Catlog device does not support IPoE or IPv6. If IPoE or IPv6 is enabled due to your provider's settings or service contract, you may not be able to connect to the Catlog device. Please check with your provider in advance if you may not be able to use PPPoE.
- Disable Wi-Fi 6
The Catlog device does not support Wi-Fi 6.
- Disable SSL Filter
- Disable HTTPS Proxy
The Catlog device does not support proxy.
- If there are multiple access points, set a different SSID for each
If there are multiple access points that can connect to the same SSID, there is a risk that the Catlog device will be unable to connect. Please change the SSID to a different value for each access point.
- Disable the Mesh Function
If the mesh function is enabled, there is a possibility that the Catlog device will be unable to connect.
